Czech-Mate: Tach-Mate

TACH-MATE^TM is a small device that attaches easily to most existing analog tachometers to add complete memory. It is far more than just HIGH RPM ... any over-priced tell-tale tach can do that! TACH-MATE^TM records all the RPMs passed to your tach - just as you would see them, if you could watch the tach instead of the track - at a rate of 30 times per second, and saves it until YOU are ready to study it ... safely, out of traffic, off the track.

Then, TACH-MATE^TM will replay everything for you, on your tachometer ... at the speed you select. You'll see the HIGH RPM, as well as everything leading up to that point, how long it was sustained, and whatever happened afterward. You can watch the revs change in actual (normal) time, half-normal (slow), or twice-normal (fast) time. And TACH-MATE^TM features a rewind capability ... so if you miss something crucial, you can immediately 'rewind' the data as far as necessary to watch it again ... then click the switch to 'slow' to watch it more closely.

Use this information to assess your engine acceleration, gearing, corner speed, and overall performance. It may also provide some insight into your driving characteristics, such as braking, accelerating and cornering.

To really optimize the results, add options such as the PC Upload, a data-collecting sensor on the axle, drive shaft or wheel, and analog sensors for info such as exhaust gas temperatures.
